Impressions of Mongolia
Limited Edition Fine Art Prints - 50% profit goes to Flourishing Future
I'm offering a special sale of archival prints of these paintings with 50% of the profits going to Flourishing Future, a charity that is dear to my heart which supports struggling families in Mongolia.
The landscape paintings in Impressions of Mongolia were created on site in the heat and storm over two summers (2015-2016), capturing the surroundings of the nature reserve at Gun Galuut and the summer camp in the countryside of Ulaanbaataar organized by Flourishing Future for children in shelter. Ranging from the distant thunderstorms at the steppe, moonlit huts where the children sleep at summer camp to a young girl washing at her ger under the evening sun, the works capture glimpses of country life and the changing weather in the open steppes.
I’ve asked a dear friend how he survived the winter (-40 degrees!) running away from abuse when he was a child in Mongolia. He said he would sleep in a slightly sheltered space under a window, and as long as he covered his feet, he would be able to sleep. Fortunately, He is now a flourishing adult and one of the most loving people I know.
Help create a flourishing future for kids in Mongolia and take a piece of Mongolian landscape with you!
